I agree with Dalynne’s answer and observations.  But the question begs more questions.
Why not just petition to have the “poa agent” appointed by the Court to serve as successor personal representative?  Or co-personal representative?
Why would the named executor need an agent to do their work?

Do you know if a poa agent for a named executor can get appointed and serve on their behalf? If the POA doc states that the agent can initiate legal action on behalf of the principal. Anyone seen that work?
