[WSBAPT] Reopening Probate - A Procedural Question

We always file it as a Motion to Re-Open because our clerk’s office (Spokane County) will always charge a filing fee for a “Petition”, but not a Motion.

I have my first opportunity to reopen a probate case and request the reissuance of letters under RCW 11.76.250. I'm hoping this group can clarify for me whether the petition to reopen probate should be filed under the existing probate case number or whether this is treated as a new case? If it is filed in the existing case is there a filing fee? Or only the ex parte application fee?
