I represent an out-of-state personal representative who is asking if he can authorize either his sister, or me as his attorney, to go to one bank where the decedent had a safe deposit box to obtain the contents and to another bank account where the decedent had an account to close the account. Can this be done? I assume my client would need to execute a limited power of attorney if it can?

Sincerely,
Jon M. Fritzler
