[WSBAPT] intestate succession

Listmates, How far down the lineal descending line do I have to research to establish intestate heirship under RCW 11.04.015(2)(e)? Until I run out of living lineal descendants? The decedent's closet living relatives are two first cousins, children of a deceased aunt, but decedent had 8 first cousins who predeceased him. Do I have to figure out if the first cousins had children (ie. do second cousins get to inherit by right of representation?) - Shannon
