[WSBAPT] Accessing a PO Box with a Small Estate Affidavit

I don’t suppose anyone has a key to the box, that is why you need to convince the Post Office to provide access?

Have they tried asking the Post Office what they will accept in light of the size of the estate and no “letters”?

Has anyone had experience with accessing a decedent's PO Box with a small estate affidavit or other option (other than opening probate)? Concern is obtaining Decedent's medical bills so they can be "provided for" under the small estate affidavit?
