[WSBAPT] need a smile

I haven’t sent out anything with an error for a loooooong time.  Since, at least, yesterday.  I feel like I should have a sign similar to the signs in factories saying “0” days since the last accident.  I would have “0” Hours Since the Last Embarrassing glaring Mistake.

Hello to all the mighty legal warriors out there.

I am having one of those, should I really stay in practice months.  2023 has been a rough year in the office due to unexpected illnesses, family deaths, loss of my assistant who kept me straight, and forgetting how long things actually take versus how long I think they should take.  Some days I wonder.  Today was the icing on the cake – I sent out a letter via fax and sent out the incorrect, not corrected version.  My client is understandably upset.  I’ve corrected the error of my way and will send out a second one but after 18 years, how have I not learned to double check my attachments………heavy sigh.  Thank you in advance as I suspect one or two of you out there can relate.

Hanging on by a thread, but hanging on 😉
