I would prepare the new deed from "Andy Color, who took title as Andy Colour . . ."

Subject: [WSBAPT] Wrong name on deed

My client's name is spelled incorrectly on several deeds (a "u" instead of an "o"). The error was not caught by the notary or title company.

He and his wife now want to transfer the property to their living trust. Do I need to file a corrective deed first, or can this be addressed in the new deed ("correct name AKA wrong name hereby deeds to correct name as trustee")?
