[WSBAPT] Notice to creditors

One CPA I was working with quite some years ago told our mutual client "it's the best insurance policy you can buy". That thought has proven itself in my practice many times over the years. And I always insist that we send actual notice - even if the creditor has been paid. Insist is a pretty strong word so take it with a grain of salt but how good is the insurance policy if you don't belt & suspenders it with notice to reasonably ascertainable creditors?

Best, Claudis

Subject: [WSBAPT] Notice to creditors

My client doesn't believe there are any outstanding debts owed by her deceased husband. Is it still a good idea to publish a notice to creditors of the probate?
