[WSBAPT] Recording the Community Property Agreement

Technically the CPA needs to be recorded in every county where real estate is owned.
Without the recording in a particular county, a title company will consider it to be a "Lack of Probate" situation, and the un-recorded CPA will be simply additional evidence for the insurability of title.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Recording the Community Property Agreement

Hi All,

Surviving spouse and decedent signed a Community Property Agreement, which has now been recorded with King County (along with the redacted death certificate of decedent spouse). They also owned property in two other counties in Washington.

Does the CPA need to be recorded in each of the other two counties as well, or is it sufficient to attach as Exhibit A the CPA recorded in King County, when filing a Lack of Probate affidavit in the other two counties? Trying to avoid paying additional recording fees if we can.
