Colleagues,

A long time family friend of mine lost her husband last Saturday after being struck by a car while he was riding his bicycle. (They actually weren't married, but have been together 20+ years, details for the attorney to work through.) The driver left the scene, and police continue to investigate. I'd like to refer her to counsel that someone knows, so hoping people on this list have worked with someone human in the Sacramento area.

PC is named as beneficiary on all of his financial accounts. Their home is in his name only. No weirdness on the part of his family - they'll cooperate in giving his real property in CA to her.

Thanks in advance for helping me find a lawyer for her.
