Just a quick thought before you get to RCW 48.30 - misrepresentation on the
app may provide a basis for claim denial if the insured died within the 2
year contestability period.

Subject: [WSBAPT] life insurance payout denied?

Life insurance company has denied payout claiming decedent's medical
condition was not disclosed in the application. I assume this is an IFCA
matter, Ch. 48.30 RCW.

Any suggestion on resources for figuring out how to handle an IFCA matter?

Failing that, are there any attorneys who routinely handle IFCA claims? I
might refer this out. It's a King County client.

Thanks in advance,

Sincerely,

Eric
