[WSBAPT] GOOD OLD JWROS

Hello All,

I have a married couple - together 9 children - husband, I think had 7, wife 2 - joint plan - everything into SNT for surviving spouse, then to divide among 9 children - long term marriage (I believe over 40 years).

Close to $530,000 in jwros bank accounts payable to surviving spouse and 1 of husband's sons.  At this time I don't know if son contributed any funds but I'm assuming not.  I fear this was done by husband and wife with son's guidance without understanding it's impact.  I want to try to reverse the payout.  I notice RCW 30A.22 deals with bank accounts and "depositors" (not joint owners, etc.).  I see RCW 30A.22.100 reads (see below in red).  Query, and forgive me if I'm asking the obvious, in my case does surviving spouse have a CP right as to ½ with decedent's ½ passing via JWROS?  Query 2,  any of you successfully challenge a jwros account to 1 child where there is clearly a joint plan for blended family to share equally?  Query 3 - what am I missing that I should know?

RCW 30A.22.100 Ownership of funds after death of a depositor. Subject to community property rights and subject to the terms and provisions of any community property agreement, upon the death of a depositor: Funds which remain on deposit in a single account belong to the depositor's estate.
