long term marriage (I believe over 40 years).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Close to $530,000 in jwros bank accounts payable to surviving spouse and 1 of husband’s sons. At this time I don’t know if son contributed any funds but I’m assuming not.
I fear this was done by husband and wife with son’s guidance without understanding it’s impact. I want to try to reverse the payout. I notice RCW 30A.22 deals with bank accounts and “depositors” (not joint owners, etc.). I see RCW 30A.22.100 reads (see
below in red). Query, and forgive me if I’m asking the obvious, in my case does surviving spouse have a CP right as to ½ with decedent’s ½ passing via JWROS? Query 2, any of you successfully challenge a jwros account to 1 child where there is clearly a
joint plan for blended family to share equally? Query 3 – what am I missing that I should know?
