No and no. Most brokerages do not accept small estate affidavit to transfer securities. Even if they did, the limit on small estates is $100,000, so you are well over the limit.

Can you use a Small Estate Affidavit where the spouse is transferring title to stock? The stock already belongs to the spouse by operation of law, but it needs to be re-registered in the surviving spouse's name. The value of the account is $300,000. Can we claim a transfer amount of zero by operation of law or must it be $150,000 as half of the community property?
