you are willing to help.  She is a smart, capable person.  I believe we
submitted all the proper evidence to get the judgment.  Judgements against
debts by ex-boyfriends aren't all that easy to get!!

Hello Susan,

 

We are not in Pierce County but we do practice there. We are in Olympia.
This something that I can help your client with. Contempt of Court to
collect on a Judgment is not an easy task to achieve unless the Order and
Judgment have the necessary language in them which they usually do not. But
there are other ways to make him pay if all the proper underlying legal work
has been done with regard to the Judgment.

COVID-19 UPDATE:

Hello everyone,

 

I have a client who has gotten a judgment in Pierce County District County
against her ex-boyfriend for a personal debt he owes her, but the
ex-boyfriend has not made payment on the judgment.  She needs a Pierce
County attorney to help her get payment on the judgment, motion for contempt
in Superior Court, etc.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a Pierce
Count attorney who can help her collect on the judgment?

 

Thanks very much.  She is a very good client.  But I don't practice in
Pierce County.
