[WSBAPT] Low Income Man Seeking Assistance after Death of Unmarried Partner

I received a call from a case worker regarding a low-income man (potential client) whose long-term (same-sex) partner has died. Partner did not have a will, and the partner acquired their home in Snohomish County before the relationship. Potential client has be contributing to the mortgage-I'm not sure how much. Partner's family wants to sell the house.

Unfortunately, I think he's out of luck, but maybe I'm missing something? Is there someone that would be willing to consult with him on a pro bono or reduced fee basis?

Thanks,
Elizabeth
