Deceased client's children cannot find either the original Will (2010) or
the Codicil (2018). I doubt the Will's witnesses can be found. One witness
to the codicil can easily be found to sign a declaration required under RCW
11.20.070(1). The codicil reaffirmed the terms of the Will that were not
changed. The children will sign declarations saying the client did not
intend to revoke either the Will or Codicil but simply lost them in a move.
Have any of you dealt with this situation?
