Hello Probate Gurus,

I need to file a temporary restraining order against the administrator of
the estate in King County. As there is no assigned judge, and after
checking the rules, I had understood that it should ex-parte, however the
clerk rejected the presentment stating it could not go ex-parte via the
Clerk.

Can anyone who has had to negotiate through the labyrinth of filing
procedures and point me the right direction? I've reviewed the ex-parte
probate page on the courts website and I'm now even more confused and less
certain how to submit this. Does a hearing get noted and does this go
through e-working copies? That wouldn't make sense since this is a TRO and
there would be a return hearing.

I appreciate your guidance - thanks!

Warmest regards,

Michael S. Safren, Esq.
