[WSBAPT] Small payment arrives after probate is closed

Hello listmates,

 

Does anyone have thoughts on advising clients on what to do when a random
payment to the decedent arrives after the estate is closed?  The Small
Estate Affidavit would not work because several of the required statements
are incorrect (a PR was appointed, the estate was greater than $100k).

 

In my case the check is very small.  Should I just tell the client to forget
about it?
