Yesterday the Oregon Tax Court (Regular Division) issued a new opinion in an Oregon estate tax case involving a QTIP trust.  Very interesting reading.  You can find the opinion (Estate of Helene Evans) as the most recent opinion on the OTC website.  Take a close look at footnote 7.
