[WSBAPT] King County Guardianship - Exparte Petition to Approve Budge and Disbursements

Jeff, a proposed order approving the budget and disbursements should be submitted with the petition.  However, I've also seen such a petition denied in the past because there wasn't enough in supporting evidence, such as a declaration from the guardian and (sometimes) bank statements, invoices, etc.  Feel free to email me if you'd like more information.

Listmates,

On October 10, 2019, Clients, acting pro se, were named co-guardians for their mother by the King County Superior Court.  In January of this year they filed their sworn Petition for Approval of Budget, Disbursements, and supposedly paid the $30 ex parte presentation fee.  The Petition was denied by the Commissioner with several statements:

  1.  No Petition or other supporting documents provided;
  2.  It is Hereby Ordered that the request is denied and the moving party shall resubmit the motion and order through the Clerk's Office, paying the Ex Parte Presentation Fee of $30.00 for the subsequent presentation, . . . A copy of this order must be included when you resubmit this matter.

In looking at the Court file, the Petition was filed.  I assume they failed to submit a proposed order.  What is the usual practice in King County for this type of Petition?
