Hello Fellow WSBA Members,

*PLEASE HELP ELECT THESE BOG CANDIDATES!    VOTING ENDS AT 5 PM APRIL 1. *

*(i) Matthew Dresden in Dist 7N (N Seattle to Edmonds) - a strong section
leader who knows the issues and who will fight for the members.*

*(ii) Jean Cotten in Dist 6 (Olympia/Tacoma/Yelm) - a long-time, respected
and thoughtful WSBA leader and supporter of members. *

*(iii) D Angus Lee in Dist 3 (Spokane) - running for a second time to help
consolidate and build on improvements in leadership, governance and fiscal
responsibility at the WSBA. *


I hope this email finds all of you safe and healthy.

I apologize for my radio silence, although I can tell you that, for the
most part, "no news" has been very good news lately at the WSBA. Having
entered my third and final year of service on the BOG, I continue to be
pleased with all of the positive changes at the WSBA: new and improved
leadership, more balanced governance, more transparent and rigorously
debated finances, and much-improved focus on the needs and interests of
WSBA Members throughout the organization. When the WSBA functions well,
everyone benefits, including the public.

Please help us continue to consolidate and build on these improvements by
supporting the election of the above three candidates.

Please vote for them immediately (see below) if you're in their district,
and more importantly, please use email, phone, text and all other means to
actively encourage others in their districts to vote.

*EVERY VOTE COUNTS:* These races are usually won or lost by just a handful
of votes.

*EMAIL BALLOTS:* The WSBA emailed all ballots on March 13. Voting ends
April 1. The WSBA's emails came from "*WSBA Election Admin*" with this
subject line:  "*WSBA Board of Governors Elections*."
