Learned colleagues,

Client is the trustee of a testamentary special needs trust for his
son,  who is a teenager (not yet 18).  Client is also PR of the estate
that will fund the testamentary SNT.

RCW 11.98.072(2)(a) requires trustees to send a notice of existence of
trust to beneficiaries of an irrevocable trust within 60 days of
acceptance of their role as trustee.  But if the beneficiary's
disability prevents them from understanding such notice,  what is the
trustee/father's obligation?  Do we need to have a GAL appointed?

Thanks for any guidance you can provide -

Felicia
