[WSBAPT] divorce and elder law

As a GAL I recommended, and obtained a clause in the Order appointing a guardian that the guardian could petition the court for authority to engage an attorney to start divorce proceedings. This was a case where there was already a VAPA order restraining the wife.

Does an adjudged incapacitated person have the right to an attorney in a divorce proceeding when the CPG and associated lawyers (family and elder law) are not representing IP’s interests?
