Hello Everyone,

I have had about a half dozen or so inquiries in West Seattle, business owners and simply worried residents, about potential litigation against the City of Seattle on the following issues:

West Seattle Bridge debacle - Business owners have asked about recompense for decline in revenues and added expenses related to bridge closure (some say avoidable). Property owners have asked about recompense for decline in property values or other related damages due to same.

Public Safety - both property and business owners are demanding action on public safety. There is nothing being done through the previous "normal" channels.

City Council Activism - there is a contingent of local business owners that have desire to sue the City when Council takes up activist legislation. Most recently, with the Council attempting to codify criminal defenses (poverty, mental health & addiction in particular).

I'm looking for suggestions, legal or otherwise, to funnels these current (and I anticipate ongoing) concerns.

Thank you and Happy New Year.
