Subject: [WSBAPT] DSHS creditors claims

We've received a large creditor's claim from DSHS in a recent probate. The claim is quite large and from many years ago (2013-2016). Our client thinks its bogus and we've send a demand letter to DSHS for proof of the claim. In the meantime, we are trying to determine if we should reject the claim. Is DSHS bound by the same timeframes/rules as regular creditors? Any advice on specifically dealing with DSHS creditor's claims would be greatly appreciated!
