[WSBAPT] Recording Durable Power of Attorney for Financial Decisions

Hello, Listmates.

Looking for opinions on the option of recording a Durable Power of Attorney with the county auditor. Is it generally necessary, i.e. worth the cost/effort? Does it have to be in the county where executed or can it be where the Principal lives?
