[WSBAPT] Distribution of Gift - authority to accept

I think it depends on the wording of the will.  If it is to the Bishop for use in _____ Parish.  Then the Bishop’s office would be the one.  If it is just to the parish church, the Priest assigned to lead that parish will work.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Distribution of Gift - authority to accept

Will requires a million dollars to be disbursed to 6 charities - one being a Catholic church and the priest says he is authorized to accept. I am not to sure of the scope of his authority as Priest or Father.  Would appreciate how others have dealt with these types of organizations and who signs the beneficiary receipts.
