[WSBAPT] Proving US will in Philippines

Hi Listmates,

I received several responses, all different. I tried the one that sounded good to me and it worked. The WA Office of the Code Reviser can provide a notarized letter signed by the code reviser that certifies whatever statutes you request. I believe they said they also mark each page of the statutes either with notarization or some other things to show that it was part of the original content. I can then send it on to be apostilled at the SOS so that the Philippines will trust the notarization. Now I know! Thank you all for your suggestions.

He wants this in order to provide the Philippines with information that they can rely on to accept the Washington will. I have no idea how I would obtain something like that. I asked the client if I could print the statute and sign it as a notary stating it is a true and correct copy of the existing version of the washington statute, and get that apostilled, but he felt it needed to come directly from the government. I am doubtful this can be done. Does anyone have suggestions?
