[WSBAPT] question regarding Ancillary probate in Colorado

I don't have a CO referral for you, but I bet CO has a small-estate affidavit process and it might allow transfer of real property without need for a probate. Most states seem to allow that, even though WA doesn't.

Sincerely,

Eric

Subject: [WSBAPT] question regarding Ancillary probate in Colorado

Listmates, I represent a PR in a Washington probate. There are two parcels of real property valued at between $10,000 and $25,000 which are located in Colorado in this estate. Will the PR need to have an ancillary probate in Colorado to sell or tranfer title to these parcels. If he has to have an ancillary probate, can someone recommend a Colorado attorney to handle this?
