[WSBAPT] Referrals for Iowa Estate Planning Attorney and Attorney to Assist with Italian Property

Dear Listmates,

I am looking for someone to assist a potential client with ownership of farmland in Audubon and Cass County, Iowa - it is half way in between Des Moines and Omaha.

I am also hoping someone has dealt with owning property in Italy - I have a client who inherited an interest in property when she was 3 back in 1959 and will likely receive an additional chunk when her step-mom passes away.  My client doesn't want the property, especially now that her relatives (other owners) are requiring her to obtain an Italian Taxpayer Identification Number so she can pay taxes on the property even though she has incurred no benefit over the years - the other family members have been keeping the rents.  Supposedly there are very strict rules on who the property can be passed to and as a result she just wants it to go away.  Has anyone ever dealt with this same situation or know someone who has.  I know it is a long shot but it never ceases to amaze me the depths of this fabulous listserve.
