[WSBAPT] Successor trustee's authority re: decedent's automobile

Decedent's trust calls for certain items of personal property to be sold and the proceeds divided amongst several beneficiaries. The decedent's automobile, including the make and model, is listed as one of the items to be sold. However, the title to the vehicle is in decedent's name as an individual, not as trustee of his trust. Schedule A of the trust says "This trust is funded by various items of real and personal property in the name of [decedent]." Will the Washington State Dept. of Licensing allow the successor trustee to transfer the title to the trust and sell the vehicle or will it be necessary for the successor trustee to file an Affidavit of Claiming Successor in order to do so?

Sincerely,
