[WSBAPT] Bequest to minors in Canada

Hi all-

I have a client who would like to leave some money to his young niece and nephew who live in Canada. His idea is to leave it to them in trust to help them pay for college. 

Does anyone have advice about leaving money in trust to minors residing outside the US? Is this dangerous for any reason? It has never come up for me before! My client wants to do this, but doesn’t want to do it if its very complex.
