[WSBAPT] Referral International Tax Advisor

I have an estate planning client that is expecting to receive a distribution
from his family's business in Hong Kong.  This was his grandfather's
business and shares have been divided and re-divided over several
generations.  The family members in control are not very forthcoming with
details.  The client believes he may be entitled to business income or
proceeds from the liquidation of business assets, that he may be a
shareholder, and that the business may have significant holdings.  The
client is concerned that he has obligations to the IRS here.  He needs
advice on what his tax obligations and reporting duties are for his US-side
of the transaction and what information he should be asking for about the
business from the Hong Kong family members.

 

Does anyone have a referral for an international tax advisor, preferably
someone that is well versed in Hong Kong / China-US transactions?
