While the commissioners have a list, if you are not appointing at county expense but at private expense, you can offer a suggestion and it will likely be viewed favorably.  Jenny Heard, Rory Hard come to mind as good GAL's but the list is available online at the Snohomish County Superior Court website.

I need to appoint a GAL for two minor heirs in an intestate probate in Snohomish County but I'm not familiar with their procedures. Do they appoint off a list or can I propose someone. If the latter, any recommendations? Pretty simple, modest assets.
