[WSBAPT] Re-open probate

I just did one ex parte in Seattle with a petition and order.  The clerk said I could take it to the commissioner right then.  In this case we were reopening to appoint the same PR because of a found asset.  The commissioner signed the order, I presented a new oath to the clerk and received new letters.

I’ve done this several times.  You will need to note for hearing, do a Petition to Re-Open Probate with information on former probate.  You will need new letters if the prior probate was closed as the PR was discharged with that closing.  If the former PR is not serving and there was a Will, you will need to contact the PR and the alternate to see if they will sign waivers. If not, you will need to note for hearing and give notice to not only them but other heirs/beneficiaries as well.

To reopen a Probate, would I need to do a Motion to reopen and Order and ask the Court to reissue the Letters .....or are prior letters OK?
