Interesting. Lincoln County will take them by mail, and I have danced
around bond requirements in every case for the last decade or so.

1. yes unfortunately. Only county I know that requires the in person
presentation.
2. ask another attorney to present for you that might be going to court
that day...
By the way, of all my Pierce county probates within the last year - the
commissioners have written in a bond requirement of $10,000 if intestate.
So make sure your Administrator can be bonded.

Can all of you Pierce County people help me out? I have two questions:
1. Is it true that all probate orders of administration have to be presented
in person?
2. Is there any way around this so I don't have to drive down from Kirkland?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Christopher Small
