[WSBAPT] Real property to trust via will

Happy Friday the 13th!

Here's the scenario:

   - H & W create trust - they don't fund it.
   - H gives his share of everything to the trust in his will.
   - H & W jointly own home.

Question - is probate going to be necessary to transfer his share into the
trust? Are there any workarounds you all know about that I don't?
