[WSBAPT] Distribution of Guns from an Estate

Listmates,

I have been appointed as PR of a contentious intestate estate. The estate,
which is very small overall, contains 5 guns (2 rifles and 3 pistols),
together appraised to be worth approximately $2500. There isn't really any
other tangible personal property of much value. Logically the guns should
be split equally between the 3 equal beneficiaries, but at least one of them
has a criminal record and is not allowed to possess firearms. Has anyone
ever had any luck getting the court to order that the guns be liquidated?
Does anyone know of a gun retailer that will come pick up the guns so that I
do not have to be personally involved?

Thanks in advance for the input.
