I’ve had very positive experiences working with Trust and Estate Search LLC: http://trustandestatesearch.com/. They were professional, they always followed through on their promises, and their pricing was very reasonable.

I have used them several times with regard to intestate estates of decedents without spouse, children or siblings. In one case they found something like 150+ heirs. They seriously (but understandably) underestimated the fee in that case, but they were always clear about the estimate being no more than an estimate, gave us monthly updates about where they were (fee and otherwise), periodically asked for specific authorization to proceed with an additional fee estimate, etc. I've been very pleased with them.

Hi Folks,

I’m wondering if anyone has used HeirSearch.com to try to locate heirs and what your experience was. I will need to arrange for a search for a party who needs notice of a probate. In our case, we kind of hope he cannot be found, but we certainly want to do a reasonable and professional job looking for him. I have only used a cheap online search tool in the past, but I don’t think that will work in this case. The estate is insolvent at this time, so cost is a factor, but conducting a reasonable search is a priority in the probate. Any suggestions you may have are welcomed.

Thank you,
