[WSBAPT] Fresno, CA Estate Planning Referral

Hello Listmates:

My client, relatively inexperienced in financial affairs, finds himself the brand new Trustee, and the sole beneficiary, of his father's Revocable Living Trust, given his father's recent death.  The Trust situs is the State of Washington.  The size of the Estate plus the Living Trust necessitates a Form 706 filing as well as dealing with Washington State inheritance tax.  We have those activities covered.

I have advised this gentleman, who plans to move back to California after completion of the Estate/Trust administration, that he is well advised to seek an estate planner in Fresno, his hometown, to help him setting up a Living Trust for himself or for himself and his wife.

So, it needs to be someone with not only the requisite knowledge, but perhaps with an additional gift of making Living Trust concepts understandable for a neophyte person of newly-acquired means.
