[WSBAPT] Unofficial Death Certificate

I have successfully opened a probate in King County Seattle with an
Affidavit Regarding death signed by me reciting that I had talked to the
funeral home, that the funeral home had received the body and was assisting
the family with arrangements.
Attached to the Affidavit was the funeral home bill, the order for certified
death certificates, the sample death certificate submitted by the funeral
home and Statement of Death by Funeral Director form.
I got all those forms from the funeral home after calling them.
They had all been completed with 6 days of death. Most of them were
completed within 2 or 3 days after death.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Unofficial Death Certificate

Hello Listmates,

Has anyone tried to open a new probate with a working copy of a death
certificate? I'm curious if the commissioner/judge would accept this
document, or whether they require the official death certificate.

Best Regards,
