[WSBAPT] DSHS Creditor claim

Dear listmates,

 

Has anyone worked with DSHS to settle a creditor's claim that renders
the estate insolvent? I contacted DSHS early on and the revenue agent
indicated that sometimes DSHS will reduce the claim to allow the heirs
to keep about 20% of the residual estate. Has that been your experience
in similar situations? Thanks in advance for your help.
