Dear Listmates,
My client's mother died last week. It turns out that her father passed
away last June and his estate was never probated. There is house, in
both parents' names, a couple of bank accounts and a house full of
personal property. Client is only child, only beneficiary in the wills.
Do I file dad's probate first, close it out after everything has been
transferred and taxes filed, etc., then file mom's probate? Or is there
an alternative that is more expedient? First time for me with this
scenario. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
