[WSBAPT] suspended/disbarred attorney drafts Will

If the attorney (suspended or disbarred) is giving legal advice and the clients are relying on that advice, I think the real question will be whether the advice was correct...  I've seen lay people draft perfectly fine Wills which pass the smell test.  From your post, are you wanting the Wills to be declared invalid?  If yes, is there a legal basis besides the attorney was suspended or disbarred?

I would think the validity of a will depends on whether it is executed according to the law, not on whether the drafter is practicing law without a license.

If an attorney, previously suspended, drafts a will, while suspended, is that will valid? What about after they are disbarred?

I know it is a crime, but am looking for the effect on the documents drafted. Cites to the statute or case law appreciated.
