Under either RCW61.24.060 {owner or occupant in possession} or .160 tenant in possession remedy is under RCW59.12 detainer statute not ejectment  have done many of these would please have your client call thanks

Yes, I do those. Just had a couple in Pierce. Holdover owners need to be evicted via ejectment, not eviction- longer and more expensive. I've done a couple of those as well. I'd be happy to discuss.

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone in Pierce County has experience or knows anyone with unlawful detainer actions and would be willing to speak with my client - purchased a home at Trustee sale, someone is living in the home. Client served a 20 day notice as there is no lease agreement/tenancy.  The gentleman is now claiming he had verbal agreement with the prior owner of the home to "pay utilities" in exchange for staying at house and is claiming he is entitled to 60 day notice.
