Hello, Listmates -

I would love to talk to someone who has experience working with insolvent
estates. PC has a parent who died. He left very modest assets, and debts
(including to the IRS) that are quite a bit higher. There are enough assets
to pay an estate attorney for the purposes of opening estate administration
(no will) and using the creditor claims process to settle things in an
orderly way. Administration could be somewhat involved, since it cannot be
nonintervention.

Wondering if that's the best way to proceed, and have a couple of more
specific procedural questions.

Thanks for your consideration, as always. I appreciate all the wisdom out
there.

Sharon
