[WSBAPT] Terminating CA revocable trust

Good morning,

 

PC's, a married couple, have relocated to Washington and need to revise an
out of date estate plan. While residing in California, PC's created a
revocable trust with the main asset was their real property. PC's have sold
the house.  (Some of the proceeds of the sale are in an account in the name
of the trust, while some of the proceeds are in Washington banks in the
couple's name)

 

The trust document gives the PC's the right to revoke the trust upon notice
to the Trustees, which is one of the spouses.

 

Any traps to be wary of here or does anyone have a template for revoking
this type of trust? One complication is that  one member of the marital
community is traveling and will not be in the United States for a few
months. (Not licensed in CA so I want to make sure there are no quirks that
I am missing)

 

Can the PC's each sign separate documents or is one revocation document
required?
