Subject: [WSBAPT] Missing Heir

Hello All,

I am working on a probate that involves a missing heir - my first experience
dealing with this issue. The PR and her estranged sister are the only heirs.
Despite her best efforts (including hiring a PI), the PR has been
unsuccessful in locating her sister. The sister has been estranged from the
family for decades.

Statutes indicate that the PR must get an agent appointed to handle the
missing heir's share of the estate. Is the agent role typically something
the PR will step into? There really aren't any other options in light of the
family dynamics in this situation.

Any advice you have with this issue (and any helpful forms you are willing
to share) is much appreciated! Thank you in advance!!
