My practice is never, ever, just notarize or witness someone’s Will that I haven’t written - only exception if I know the person, and/or they are willing to pay me for an hour of my time to sit with them as if a new client, discuss their estate, needs, wishes, etc, and at the end it is my opinion that the document is appropriate - only did this way once.

When I do witness a Will, it is one I have written, and I have no problem being one of the witnesses in that circumstance.
